A gay Isreali film maker, Amos Guttman died of aids in 1998 at the age of 38. This is his story.

Amos Lasher loses his wife and home in an accident, finding himself in the care of the state, or specifically speaking, the Sunset Nursing Home. Here he finds the head nurse, Daisy Daws, ruling the cowed patients with an iron hand, but as his determination to get out of Sunset grows, the more sinister his situation becomes.

Through rare and striking footage from her own films, Eunice Gutman Has Stories revisits the journey of one of the pioneers of feminist cinema in Brazil. This is a tribute to the director, who will celebrate 50 years of work and 85 years of life in 2026.

Like Fellini, Guttman transformed his dreams and everyday conversations with friends and family into integral parts of his pictures. He is most remarkable for his striking and original use of the frame. Every shot is a treasure. Amos Guttman dared to portray subjects that were taboo in his society, and his search for the right of individual expression is the connecting link of his works.

Samuel and Lourdes are a humble marriage that go out of their way taking care of the land and their Lord properties. The owner of the house is Víctor, an ancient vampire that only feeds himself with the blood of bad people.
